Something everyone noticed

Dig has the most powerful numbers (70 damage and 3 bars) which equals to 210, but it is not the strongest due to the DPS. Why? I thought that it is only type effectivenesses.

Ask as many questions as you like :)

I have a few 90%+ IV Marowaks with dig but I don't use them.(yet)

Because it takes so long to use the move.

problem is who got this move

DPS, divides the damage by how long it takes to carry out the move. Dig is pretty slow (almost 6 seconds) and the pokemons who have this move stink (Raticate, Marowak).

nope. Since dig needs to much time to cast you are not able to dodge, which is quite important while training a gym.

Dig is 70 damage over 5.8s.

The "best" pokemon with dig are probably Marowak, Graveler, and Raticate.

In that same 5.8s you could just use Mud Slap four times for 60 damage or Bite eleven times for 66 damage, and you have the option to stop and dodge if you want.

And the other options for charge moves on those pokemon are significantly better.
