Alakazam Question

When I saw that PC/FB was a good counter for Snorlax, I powered up my 96 PC/FB Alakazam to level 30.

But now that I'm planning to attempt some level 3 solo raids, I'm wondering if he might be more useful if I change FB to FS. I have a 87 level 30 PC/FS Alakazam already and also 87 level 39 C/FS Espeon.

If you have other good counters for snorlax and spare TMs, I say go for it.

Snorlax counters:

Machamp 87 C/DP, level 30
Dragonite 91 DT/O, level 39
Dragonite 62 DB/H, level 39
Espeon 89 C/FS, level 39
Alakazam 87 PC/FS, level 30
Tyrannitar 91 B/SE, level 30
Flareon 87 FS/OH, level 30

And I'm very strongly considering powering up a level 20 B/C T-Tar to level 30.

I would say unless you absolutely need that other Psychic attacker, no... Because I don't have one myself but my brother says his PC/FB Alakazam is by far his favorite attacker he has (lvl28) He likes it as a Specialist and a Generalist.

i would leave the FB unless alakazam is really hard to come by for you (and a couple or raids can fix that).

even if they are hard to come by espeons are easy and are virtually interchangeable for straight psychic.

I'd wait and get new Alakazams since he's a raid boss anyways...and TM drop rates may have been nerfed (I haven't gotten one in 5 days).

I'm walking a high IV 95% Eevee to get another Espeon currently...(buddy candy doesn't seem as a big of a deal now with rare candies)...so maybe save
"this" Alakazam as part of your Snorlax/Lapras/Blissey eventually raid attack team and get new Alakazams for soloing Machamp.

What are you trying to solo a Machamp with if you don't have him? And what's your dust situation?

I haven't tried soloing anything yet, but these are my potential attackers for Machamp:

-Dragonite 62 DB/H, level 39
-Espeon 89 C/FS, level 39
-Alakazam 87 PC/FS, level 30
-Exeggutor 93 C/P, level 39
-Gengar 82 SC/SB, level 30
-Gengar 64 SC/SB, level 30
-Gengar 100 H/SB, level 30
-Gengar 73 H/SB, level 30
-Dragonite 91 DT/O, level 39
-Exeggutor 82 C/SoB, level 30

Today I powered up a B/C T-Rex to level 30, so I'm basically tapped out of dust at the moment.
