Pokestop Change?

Alright so as I was leaving campus today I was going to spin some pokestops along the way for the 50exp even though I wouldn't get any items since I had a full bag but as I tried spinning it wouldn't give me any exp and say full bag. So I made room for items to be given to me and I would get the items and 50xp as usual but once I was full I'm no longer able to get any exp from the dials because of my full bag and kept getting the message full bag even though just yesterday that wasn't the issue for me. I had a friend spin some dials and it was the same for him too. So was this some change i'm all late on noticing or is this just a recent thing they did today.
