Should I use double candy berry for Tyranitar raid?

That's a good question, but I think the answer is no for the vast majority of people. I have been tempted myself, but always went with Golden Raspberry. There are enough people out there who miss out on catching the Tyranitar for it not to make sense. The Tyranitar itself is surely worth much more than the 10 extra candy you would get from pinapping it.

I saw somewhere that the base is between great and ultra. I'm waiting to find one to try it, then if it doesn't work my last 2 balls will probably be gold berry. getting one by itself is very much worth more then 10 more candies, so that's purely up to you

Check the CP given, if its less than 2040, I would pinap it. Less than 2040 means the IV's aren't great.

If the CP is 2097, it is perfect! Use every golden razz you have!

you should keep some 90+ tyranitars, or 2-3 your best ones, then check if cp of new tyranitar is low then your favorits, and cath them with pinap. Dont forget to use curveball (almost same bonus chance with razz berry), and try to hit great throw.
After that, when you have ~200 candys, power up ur best tyranitar.
My best strategy is throw ur ball when tyranitar in the middle of attack animation, ball reach him right when he end his attack

Depending on how many premium balls you got using a pinap for the first few throws won't hurt.
