New item bag size limit?

I was able to boost my bag up to 1100 items. What is the new max size?

I saw a local trainer posting his both boxes to 1500, but I'm not sure it is maximum at that time :)

I immediately boosted to 1200 and then figured that maybe I should wait for a possible sale on the PoGo anniversary. Knowing me, I'll probably max it out before then.
