Tauros in Montreal?

I will be in Montreal, Canada, next week and wondered whether Tauros spawns there. If so, it is rare?

I do not know about that area of Canada. But as someone in Northern USA I can tell you I used to see 3 of 4 of those a week. Now I see maybe 1 a month. If that.

Agreed. Tauros used to spawn all over the place here in the Midwest USA, but I can't remember the last time I saw one since gen2 came out.

Chiming in from near Ottawa - I have not seen a single Tauros since Gen 2 came out. And I used to have at least one spawn near my house every day.

I'm actually a bit annoyed by this because the only Tauros I have are level 15 or below, thought they have IV's that are in the high 80's to mid 90's. I want to use one as a Defender now, but I don't want to spend a ridiculous amount of stardust to power it up. ARGH!

Thanks for your answers. I will probably not bother to get internet access on my phone if the chances of finding it are so low.

Maybe you can get lucky in a place with wifi access. Likely find a number of spots where you can connect via wifi.

To echo those who have posted so far, I live in Canada, not near MTL but I also used to see tons where I live. If I went for a 4-5km walk I'd almost always catch at least one, sometimes multiples.

I walked 4km last night and never saw one. No idea where they went. They still spawn just are super rare now it seems.
