Quick Larvitar Evolve Question: I finally have enough candies to get my first T-rex. Which candidate should I evolve (all have IV = 88.9%):

A/D/S
1. 10/15/15
2. 14/12/14
3. 15/15/10

I am leaning towards No. 2, but No. 3 is tempting too. So, which one would you evolve?

The 15 attack one.

don't bother wait for an appropriate level 4 raid and save your candy.
then use the saved candy to power up.

Definitely, if one have access to at least couple dozens of gyms and have some time, it's possible to manage couple ttars a day. But candies for power up will be hard to get.

Walking, catching, hatching and evolve is so last month.

No one needs to do that anymore for the prefered mons..

Try to catch a Tyrannitar boss, they have good IV, you can change the moveset if necessary and can bring it to level 30 immediately.

Thanks all. I guess I'll hold off and see if a Trex pops up in a raid in my area for a while. Makes sense... Thanks.

Wait in any case. By the time you get enough candy to evolve and power up, you may obtain a 90+ IV. Of about 12 hatches I have a 91 93 and 95.
