Does anybody know the chances of getting a candy when you feed a Pokemon?

In my medals screen it says I've fed 83 berries and yet I have only received 1 snorlax candy. It's looking to be a 1 in 100 chance haha
Am I on the unluckier side or are others reporting similar experiences?

44 berries fed so far, no candy whatsoever

I have fed over 100 berries to pokemon. Never once have I received a candy.

55 candies, one Dratini candy

First dratini candy after about 30 berries, now 60 no other berries
