Any rural players get a raid yet?

I'm assuming that as time goes on they will become more common in the more remote areas. I'm not exactly in the middle of nowhere but have yet to get a raid. I'm anxious for a definite answer on how close you need to be for it to pick up on your nearby. If you get a free pass a day and they still hope to make money with people buying extra passes to more than one a day they must plan on hoping the frequency.
