Finding Kabuto in the wild
Am I the only one struggling to find Kabuto in the wild?
I'm just Level 30, have only just hatched my first Kabuto egg and never had a wild encounter or even seen it on 'nearby'.
To complete the UK Pokedex I've got about 8km of walking with a Geodude to finally get Golem, not a big problem and not a completely useless Pokemon. Muk needs about 25 more candies somehow - again probably just about worth the walking. Charizard is going to give me sore feet for a slightly better than average fire Poke (still 75 candies short) but not bad.
The thought of walking Kabuto knowing I'm unlikely to use Kabutops is a painful thought.

Canada here.
I've caught Kabuto wild a month or so ago and it showed up on the nearby yesterday but I didn't bother searching.(i was busy I think)
I've caught two or three Grimers wild.
I actually caught a 1300 or 1400 Golem months ago near my place. I might have been pre-lvl 20 or around there.
Only 69 rating though.
As for Charizard, I hatched an 89 Charmander and took advantage of the Halloween event and earned 90+ candies or so within the event.
Charizard got Ember/Fire Blast and is underwhelming thus far at 1700 cp.
I have never see a Chansey in nearby or gym but have read many others hatching and catching lots.
Simply check your nests regularly. Kabuto was missing in my Pokedex during the first three months. Then suddenly a nest nearby changed to Kabuto, and within 90 minutes I had enough candy to evolve Kabutops. It was my weirdest day in Pokemon Go. Five days later I hatched a Kabuto during Halloween, giving me 64 candy - which means 2 Kabutops in one week after months without any Kabuto. This experience taught me to never give up hope. I'm still missing a Lapras for instance, but I will finally get one for sure.
