As many of you may have done I also pumped every gym I could find full of my mons. However..... I can see a few gyms from my house and I timed the rate of deprecation for the motivation! At the current rate a man will only last 8 hours! I may have timed it a little wrong due to one too many tipples but more ot less within half a day you get kicked!
So up yours every cheat out there. Try stemming back that tide! Ha ha

My Garados lost about 1/3Cp in 3 hours..

In combination with the 1coin/hour Thing..
This is ridiculous!

No brother it's great! Niantic have finally put an end to cheats and have give lower level trainers a chance in one fell swoop!

Imagine controlling so many gyms now! Impossible! So now everyone gets to play and if the sad ones sat at home want to play by spoofing then it won't affect the rest of us much.

As long as the playing fields is level what does it matter how many coins you get?

Let's hope they stick to their guns and keep the clock ticking fast for gyms!

And how would a Low Level Player keep a Gym 150hours to get e.g. an incubater?

Before rework it was definitely harder for them. Now everybody have to work hard to get coins. Higher turnover should benefit them.

As of current state Niantic have finally put an end to obtaining high IV mons and maxing out defenders. Who really care whether CP of his blissey drop to 1000 after 10 or 11 hours?

Wait... won't the cheaters just return to feed them, from the comfort of their home?

At first but after a week of doing it all the time every day over multiple accounts? Not likely. Of course bots will adapt quickly but my guess is that the incentive is greatly reduced now even for boters!

Well, there are bots that do stuff automatically, so it's only a matter of days until they adapt them to the new system and make them feed berries, place mons, and stalk gyms.

...and an account that does nothing but sit under a gym, spins it so it can collect berries and then feeds the defenders periodically is going to be very easy to pick off by an anti-bot mechanism.

And if they are clever, they just make the bot get nothing from spinning stops/gyms - then the owner of the bot account will not even know when it has been detected

Ideally, they should check the internet for which bots are new, because there was a top result for a 2nd version of a very famous bot on the 1st Google link. If they know what they'll deal with, they could probably easily set the app to detect it.

Days or hours until bots adapt? Who knows but they seem to be a much smaller problem than the human spoofers.

I don't know which of them is invading the gyms currently, but at 3 AM mons keep getting refilled in the park nearby, in 5 gyms. Meanwhile, I get GPS Not Found error if I let my phone turn itself off more than 2 times. Had to set it to run for 30 minutes of no touchscreen activity to avoid having to restart the app.

Defenders not only loose motivation, but also CP itself, so after some time CP drops and one can't increase it by feeding.
