Concerns with gym rework

-We are still going to see as a majority the same 6 or so pokemon in gyms
-The combat system from video footage looks to be the same I.e still tap and swipe
-Spoofers are still at major advantage due to being able to easily upkeep pokemon
-Still no pvp available in any form
-Teamless players (like my brother) gain nothing from this update. He'd still want to play pvp but gym battling doesn't give appeal as it is just ai battling.

I'm holding judgment until I see the actual mechanics but I don't see a lot that I'm excited about. I have a very low gym density around me and none within walking/biking distance. I've been able to collect 100 coins a day by exploring different remote areas and finding higher level gyms of my team and prestiging them up. I had 14 gyms yesterday within a 100 mile radius of my house and 1 or 2 that were from vacation spots we visited over 500 miles away.

Having to make the rounds to care and feed pokemon in those gyms just isn't feasible. So I don't see that getting 100 coins/day will be happening which means a big hit to egg hatching which is the only way I have a chance for some of the rarer pokemon. I also don't see raids being anything that will be viable near me.

The one change I do like is the adjustment to STAB and SE moves which brings the battle strategy more in line with how the mainline pokemon games work.

I'm sure Niantic would love to get rid of the spoofers, and if they had the resources of, say, Google, they could probably get end the problem instantly, but I think everyone just has to deal with it until they figure it out.
