Event goals and recap
When the event started someone asked what peoples goals were. Just thought this would be a good place to break from the rework discussion and chat about how we all did. Im aware there is about 10 or more hours left. Hope y'all can grind up a big finish. Personally I'm going to call it.
Looking back I set some pretty modest goals and blew them out of the water. I walked a minimum of 12 kilometers every day and over 20 today l managed to drop 5 lucky eggs (YOLO!) and am still sitting on 8 or 9. I grinded more than double the experience I was looking for (1.5M) dinged 34, got hundreds of candies for all the common mons.
Excluding muk(which I have over 50 candy), unown, and regionals i finished off all other dex entries in lucky egg sessions.
I had some great hatches too: 3 Larvitar, 3 dratini, Mareep, and 8 others that were worth the dust and experience. None of the stats really jumped out at me but the candy are welcome
My unexpected highlights than I am very happy with include: a single Jynx all week. Silver ice and dragon and gold ice and dark medals. 100 Lapras Candy! 150 Dratini Candy! 200 Sneasel Candy! 2 Porygon Hatches(finally used 1 of 11 upgrades), meeting a select few fellow trainers who are particularly active in my area, and the grand finale: my fourth and fifth shiny!!
Really going to be difficult to top this one. How did y'all do?

My highlights are a 200 cp charizard pinapped, 2 laprasses one 200cp pinapped, one 1800 double ice move so I really am happy about this one, I have exams and have to study but I still managed to get about 100 to 150 candy for all fire mons, so I can evolve my second charizard, first typhlosion, I got a better houndoom, and I have a personal project of a ninetails army (I want 6 maxed) and I got a bunch of candy so I am happy

Got just a little over 1.25 mil XP (my goal was to get halfway through lvl 35 and I did)
Wild catches: 12 sneasel, 3 Lapras, Typhlosion, 2 Flareon, 3 Dragonair and...
Enough mons to evolve 3 Typhlosion, 6 Arcanine, 3 Dewgong, 6 cloyster, 6 rapidash, 2 charizard, 5 piloswine and that's just making fire/ice mons.
Can't even tell you how many balls I went through!
Nice, some good stuff you've got there.
I started playing the 14th, so I didn't set any goals but personal highlights include: reaching level 25 (those lucky eggs certainly helped),having caught over 100 species, gold medals for normal, fire and water pokemon, getting my first 20 coins which obviously means winning my first gym battles.
Further highlights are my first 2000+ cp pokemon (Arcanine ftw), a high IV stat dual ice move cloyster, a lapras (albeit a really shitty one; IDGAF :D), a fairly high stats dratini and dragonair (different ones) and getting close to my first gyarados ('Karp has either 41 or 42 total IV stats).
Oh and I have enough candies for a Charizard, but am still looking for a better Charmander/Charmeleon :D
Biggest disappointment: I'm forever stuck with a bronze medal for training at gyms..... The completionist in me is not happy with this
