Forgotten Pokemon and their (possible) relevance in the meta now

I was casually scrolling through my Pokemon when a Dewgong caught my attention. It's a CP 1404 with 97.8% IV's with the best defensive moveset (legacy) according to this site (Ice Shard / Icy Wind). I remember catching that Seel in the wild and being ecstatic by its stats only to be disappointed by the evolved moveset for not being Frost Breath / Blizzard. Could this bad boy possibly be a poor man's Lapras now?

I'm sure you all have similar stories and Pokemon to share as well. With the new gym rework there might be examples akin to Dewgong and their possible revamped relevance.

My confusion/psyshock Hypno is going to seriously annoy people. Last time I stuck him in a gym, I effectively ended prestiging for that gym...

Wobbofet could cause problems. Shuckle only in my dreams and game boy cartridge.

Wobbofet is weak to ghost and dark. He hits both types super effective (one with stab). His HP is second only to Blissey. The unsuspecting trainer will underestimate the punching bag.

On a side note I recently heard that the pokemon is actually the tail and what we think of the body is really a decoy. Totally makes sense if you think about what it really is and does, and look at it from all angels. Check it out!
