100% Typhlosion ended with Shadow Claw/Fire Blast

As with almost all of my 100% mons, the moveset that my 100% caught Cyndaquil ended, was not optimal. Shadow Claw/Fire Blast for the brand new Tyranitar. I' ve got another 86.7% with the same moveset. It is not abysmal and Shadow Claw is a very good move but Overheat would have been better.

Well if its any consolation, after countless berries, great & ultra balls to get enough candy for evolution, my 89% Cyndaquil wound up with Shadow Claw/Solar Beam. The move Solar Beam is great, but if for some unknown reason I went against a Vaporeon with my Typhlosion, I'd probably be KO'd before Solar Beam was charged and ready to go.

It would be interesting to make such a test. But for defense it would be unexpected if he/she does not faint before. OK, my moveset maybe is a bit better.

I've tested Shadow Claw/Solar Beam on offense against Vaporeon, it performs ok if you dodge all but Aqua Tail really destroys Typhlosion.

Did you manage to exterminate this Vaporeon or he caught you first?

I have a SC/OH Typhlosion, and it works very well against Exeggutor. Of course overheat is a little better than fire blast, but yours isn't that bad. I certainly wouldn't consider it a tragedy on the level of my 100% Dragonite with SW/HB.

I just evolve a 98% with that set. It should still wreck Eggy, the only Mon I'm like to use him for.
