Another perspective
So I just read a comment over here and thought about my habits...the generally memtioned amd highly rates attackers are often the ones with the highest dps who take out one opponent the fastest. I normally fight only dodging charge moves and often use exactely those pokemon mentioned. I was wondering if there are alternative solutions outside of Blissey and Snorlax who maybe do the Job a little slower, but loose less HP in the process, so would be able to take out more than one pokemon.
Machamp is often mentioned as a counter to Blissey, but he looses so much health in the process and often dies if you miss one dodge. Of course he is very good against Snorlax and Tyranitar but for Blissey I think my best choice is Tyranitar. Same goes for Exeggutor. He's rates so high but especially against Rhydon he takes so much damage that Vaporeon is clearly better. Jolteon is another case. I have one standing at 2400CP and even though she puts out a lot of damage, shes a glass canon. Are there other tankier options? What is your “Tank-Team“ or the tankiest counter against each of the top 7?

Exeggutor is only tanky in terms of taking on Blissey. None of those other pokemon really have the firepower to take out a 3000 cp Blissey. Obviously Tyranitar would be a better Blissey option, but I don't have a good one. He is one of the best in terms of speed and power against Blissey. Muk is a great generalist. I use him to finish off Blissey if my Eggy misses a dodge. About the only thing I don't use him against is Rhydon, Tyranitar, and the psychic types.
Edit: Looking at the bit about Blissey, they have Dragonite as a better counter, but in my experience Eggy is superior. I think that is because he resists zh and most I see are dg, which don't hurt him nearly as much as Dragonite, especially with a missed dodge.
I have only one good Machamp so I use him when I can to wipe that smile off of Blissey's face, but as you said he faints pretty quickly.
Where I live I don't have many good pokemon, but I do have an Arcanine army (fire fang with either flamethrower or fireblast) that is very effective in taking down serial Blissey's.
My one good Exegutor is useless against Blissey
