Where are the Snorlax?

How often are Snorlax hatched? Are they more rare to hatch now that gen 2 is out I guess? I'm lvl32 and have only ever seen 1 on my nearby screen but it was in a school so I didn't chase it.... what sort of area do they inhabit and am I just unlucky?

Hatched my 3rd this week and my 2nd two weeks after gen2 release, so I think they are still as rare as before.

In the wild they are in residential neighborhoods usually. As for hatches, I've hatched 3 snorlaxes out of 50 total 10km eggs. Two of those 3 were after the release of gen 2.

Is there a place where you can check how many 10km eggs specifically you have hatched? Or have you just been keeping track

I've been keeping track using a spreadsheet. I only do it with the 10 kms. There's no way in the game to see how many of the different types of eggs you've hatched.

I saw one at a busy cross section near-by feature, but I did not have time to stop by to search for it.
I hatched 1 and caught 1 since Feb 2017, both in April.

7000 catches, 3 Snorlax:
One at an apartment complex near a grocery store.
One by some houses near a gas station.
One by a parking lot of a bowling alley.

Not too frequently from eggs. They spawn in neighborhoods. The problem with that is there aren't too many pokestops there. Did get one yesterday in a neighborhood at a pokestop by a school.

They are semi common in my grass biome. Seen about 30+ wild, could definitely get more if I went to the spawn areas more often.The pokestop tracking has really slowed things down. Hatched 11 or 12 out of 1950.

Much more common here than some other actual "common" mons. Never have seen magnemite, voltorb, etc.

I have caught 4 - only one had a decent IV (73) and moveset (ZB/HB), so I powered it up from level 16 by walking a bajillion km.

Level 32 and never hatched a Snorlax, which is bizarre since I've hatched both four Lapras and Chansey, but never caught either of those in the wild. O_O

I hatched 2, both after gen 2. Before that I had caught 6 in the wild (all with terrible IVs and only 1 above 1500cp), and after gen 2 more than 10 wild ones, including a 97% at 2007cp with ZH/HS. So, in my case, I believe they are more common now.

Have hatched 4 since the game was introduced with only above-average IV and mediocre move sets. I've only caught 1 in the wild. Sitting on loads of candy and still hoping for a strong one! Good luck to us! hah

I caught a cp 2657 cp snorlax today so they're not gone

I caught quite a few snorlax over 10 but haven't seen any since gen 2 came so it seems they have become rarer or maybe it's because I am playing less..have hatched 3 also but that was also before gen 2 came out

I've been lucky with snorlaxes, I have to admit - level 34, hatched 6 and caught 5 (one of those is a level 1, 44 CP).

2 of the wild ones were caught at parks (grass biome), 1 in the bathroom at work (that was a nice surprise!), one in a parking lot and one, using incense, in my rural driveway.

I caught or more wild snorlaxes before gen 2 but hatched more (4) since then.

GL! RNG messes with us, I finally hatched my second chansey 6 months after the first one....
