When I tried training a gym earlier, but after the dailies had started, it was the same as before. When did the gym changes go live, or is downloading an update necessary for them? Also, to get 500 prestige is it necessary to train using a Pokemon with half the CP of the one in the gym, or will using an equivalent one still give 500 prestige?
I'm glad for the changes. Almost all the gyms I see are level 10. I'm in many of them, but having stagnant gyms really takes a lot out of the game.
Good! These are great changes. I was so over spending the time and resources to take down high level enemy gyms, only to see them back up an hour later because someone has a CP 20 Horsea and CP 10 Diglett. As for lowering the prestige for attacking friendly gyms, that seems pretty reasonable since you can fight with 6 'mon now.
Now I'm especially looking forward to taking down that persistent, obviously Bubblestrated red gym 2 blocks from my house tonight, which used to be blue territory. Won't be so easy for them to put back up now :)
I did my krabby + pikachu 2 days back and got 1000 prestige points, but i got kicked out today and i tried on another gym and got only 500 points. i was anyways tired of bubblestrat as i am usually the one to get kicked out soon. I was only doing it in hope that atleast few yellow gyms show up in my city amidst alll blue, even if I am not in there. I won't waste my time anymore for 500 points per battle.
