Is anyone really seeing (more) Larvitar?

YES! I saw one in the wild today. Before today I had never seen one in the wild. So that is definitely more!

I caught 2 as soon as the event started, but haven't run into them since. I think more are definitely spawning though, I see them on feeds and stuff

I caught one lvl. 30 with 71 % iv. Before I also did not see any in the wild.

not yet just tons of omynite and kabuto. imma try and explore a little tonight i hope to get at least one

When this game started no way could I do that back to back. Hopefully I see a couple of those mons.

There are less larvitars in my area than before the event...

I haven't seen any in my river/grass biome yet, but still hoping to see some. I know I won't be getting many candies in this event from catches alone.

Based off the feed I use Larvitar spawns seem to be about 3-5 times more frequent than pre event. The rate of Tyranitar seems to have gone down mayb and with Pupitar I am not too sure at this time. Will know better after the weekend but I imagine they are making server side adjustments today if not throughout the weekend.

Caught 5 since start of the event. Even a level 23 IV 96%. Never seen one before.

Not one. I've only ever seen two in Nearby, although I've had good luck with hatches since Gen 2 dropped.

I'm in Europe and went out for five hours today and saw none, huge disappointment on that front BUT and this is a big but, I acquired 3 10km eggs and all were Larvitars, I doubt that was a coincidence.

Not seen one since Gen 2 released, plus I was on when the event had just started, despite the supposed glitch causing an increase in Larvitar spawns, and still haven't seen one even on the nearby list.

Are spawns maybe related to biomes? The valentines event seemed to be, with certain players seeing tons of Chansey (I didn't see a single one during the event), while others only seeing crap like Lickitung, Clefairy, and so on.

I caught 2 right when the event started, but have yet to see another.
I only need 10 more candies to get my first T-rex (and my final gen2 short of regionals and unown) so I started walking my 100% IV Lapras thinking I would get plenty of larvitar. Since I haven't seen anymore, I switched buddy to larvitar again.

Caught two today, one in an area where Dratini spawns sometimes, another at a spot that normally produces various uncommon 'mons.

Yes, I've caught 3 today and previously had only caught 3 total. (I play a lot)

I saw 5 yesterday. Zero today. :( And I went to the exact spots and times I saw it yesterday. Lol.

Larvitar and a Pupitar in the last hour. None before that today or yesterday. Possibly an increase in my area for the event, but not statistically significant.

Not even one on nearby.

I caught one on incense soon after the event started but have not seen one since. Normal in this biome: none. The one I caught might have been due to the glitch, though... Time will tell.
