Seasonal mons?

I am wondering if Swinub is common in winter and rare in other seasons. I am in Wisconsin, and that has been my observation. I caught 3 of those a day back in February and now maybe 2 a week.

Possibly. I saw swinubs everywhere a couple of months ago and now they have pretty much disappeared

I hope so.
It will be good to get a chance at Swinubs in our Winter.

We don't have winter here in Singapore. Swinubs are very rare here.

Well it would be biome dependant. So you might not see many ice mons there. Makes sense to me...

Just like we don't see many water mons here due to our lack of water....

My reason for thinking they may be seasonal, is because Corsola is a mon that is dependant on climate - it stays in the tropical zone only.
So the partner to that would be one that moves for either winter/summer.

They were everwhere in Minneapolis in the winter, now I seldom see one.

It's certainly the case for bugs, hardly seen any Weedle or Caterpie in winter.

I think we see a similar number of swinubs here to what we saw at the release of gen 2, which is that I catch one once every day or two.

The areas that saw tons of Swinub also saw tons of Drowzee back during July - November. For my area at least, we're talking abnormally a ton of Drowzee like more Drowzee than all Pidgeys and Ratatas combined. Swinub was the same. It'll be interesting to see if Drowzee returns this summer/fall.

That matches what I saw. We had many Drowzee around here last fall and now I rarely see them.
