Incubating tips ?
Alright this may have been asked a million times already, but I found several different answers to that question lately, so I'd like to hear your point of view :
I usually spend my pokecoins on new incubators. I only hatch 10k with it, or 5k if i dont have any 10k. Why? because i spend more time with this incubator, otherwise it vanishes too quickly (and i'd get mad if i paid 150pc to hatch three weedles)
I hatch my 2k with the orange one, or 5k if i dont have any 2k
is that even the good strategy? What do you guys do with your incubators?

I use my unlimited one exclusively for 2k eggs, and sometimes 5k eggs. I never put 2k eggs into incubators I buy, except for this last event, but I was running 9 of them. If you only buy them with coins your earned from gyms, just using those one for 10k eggs is a good strategy, with the occasional 5k.
you're right to not use 2ks on the limited use ones.
lets say you have 6 eggs, 5 are 2ks and one is a 10k. if you use the infinite on the 10k, in order to hatch the 2ks you'd need to use 5 limited incubator usages.
if you put the 10k in the limited incubator, you can use the infinite on the 5 2ks while the 10k is hatching and only use one blue incubator usage while hatching the same amount of eggs.
or if you look at it this way, incubating 3 10ks gets you 30km of usage while incubating 3 2ks gives you 6km of usage.
atm I'm saving for 8 incubators + 9 10k eggs to hatch all at once with a lucky egg. wish I thought about this before wasting all my incubators I got early on.
I mean you could still use 2/3 uses for hatching a 5k or 10k egg but save the last usage for doing 6+ 10k eggs at once.
it's better to have 2 incubators, one with 1/3 and one with 2/3 uses than 1 incubator with 3/3 uses.
it depends on how many pokecoins you get. if you're getting 100 coins per 21h from gyms you could probably afford to use blue incubators on 5k occasionally.
I do the same. I only use the unlimited one for 2 Km eggs unless I don't have any to put in, in which case I put a 5 Km or 10 Km instead. Probably the best way to get the most out of the money spent, though you'll still probably get crap anyways. I've probably hatched close to 300 eggs and spent $50 and most of the time got nothing great. I've yet to find a Lapras or Snorlax.
I only use the blue ones for 5km or 10km eggs myself, but only during an evolution party.
Other than that, I walk enough to pretty much hatch a 5km egg a day so that makes the game sorta "fun" "exciting" for me to see egg hatches and what I get...
Got insanely lucky that I hatched 2 Lapras and 1 Dratini out of my 1st 5 10k eggs.
Like most people 2K in the orange one, 10k in the blue, 5 k in the blue unless I've got an empty orange one. I try and run about three incubators at a time which occasionally means buying Pokecoins. I ran a full nine during the Halloween event, but normally it would get too costly.
The annoying thing is the distribution of good stuff - even at Level 29 I'm still slightly short of making Charizard, Golem and Venusaur at the 2K level. At the 5K level I need a few Muk and Abra's, and only find around half a dozen of the others useful for evolving. Of the 10's anything but a Dratini, Lapras or Snorlax is basically useless apart from as stardust.
Certainly favor putting 2K eggs in your unlimited incubator and don't put 2K in blue incubators. But if you also avoid putting 5K eggs in blue incubators, then you are not going to get very many 10K eggs. You need to churn through a lot of 5K eggs to keep open egg slots so you can get 10K eggs.
One simple idea I realized:
Use only your unlimited incubator until you reach level 20, then clear out your sub level 20 eggs. You don't want to turn over your eggs quickly while they are still lower than their max level.
