How are your thoughts about how the 3 legendary birds be implemented?
My thought is:
*Type *Normal *Legendary
*CP *Normal *110%
When attacking gyms:
*Faint *100% HP lost *50% HP lost
*How damage received *Normal *8/9
*Can't be used *0 HP left *Less than 50% of its max HP
When defending gyms:
*Special HP boost *200% *300%
*Move additional cooldown *1.5–2.5 *1–1.5
*HP left when kicked out *0 *1

All three of them will suck as defenders.
Moltres, Articuno are double-weak to Rock, Zapdos is weak to Rock. So Tyranitar or Golem will eat those birds for food. Vape also destroys Moltres. Flareon also destroys Articuno. Eeveeulutions are born to shoot the birds. Though Zapdos is the hardest to deal with, IMO, it's still far away from Mrs.Pink.
As attacker. Moltres is at most a better Charizard. Articuno has the same attack as Lapras. Zapdos, again, is a much stronger Jolteon and will roar Gyarados and other two birds using its Thunder Crush.

As far as their moves or whatever obviously something special would have to be done to make them relevant defenders. Whether that needs to be done would only matter to me in regards to their rarity.
As far as getting them I would like for them to be available through the group events like has been discussed. I would also like them to be SUPER rare wild spawns with a catch. They would show up only for the player like Shiny Gyarados. They would have an incredibly tough catch percentage and be tied to how many medals you have. Like each gold medal equals 0.05% added catch rate. Hunting things in the wild is my favorite part of this game and while maybe the mythical Pokes should be limited to events for big city players I see no good reason for the legendary birds to be treated as such whether from their impact on the meta or any other reason. Why would it be any good to further alienate players who do not live in a central metropolitan area or with loads of money and free time from competition? And FWIW, that doesn't apply to me. I could go to the metropolitan regions for such events easily.
