Increase in Evo Items?

Over the weekend I have seen more than usual for me. Saturday I got a sun stone, yesterday a king's rock, and today another king's rock

i came home now after a pokehunt with a friend, in 2 hours he found 3 evolution item.
i think they definitely increase the % of evo items.

I got two King's Rock in a row today, and an Up-Grade later

I've gotten five random ones in the last couple of weeks. That's way more than usual for me.

got two metal coats in a row this morning (not on streak)

Sun stone then metal coat within 5 pokestop spins

Just got 4 within an hour - sun stone, metal coat, sun stone, dragon scale.

Sitting at the local quad lure I received 1 sunstone 2 metal coats 2 kings rocks 1 dragon scale in about an hour.

Thanks for the heads up. I just went out and grabbed 3 evo items in about 20 minutes spinning 50 plus stops. Sun stone x 2 and kings rock. Of course what I want is another metal coat for scizor but such is life.

I got two metal coats in the same spin, a dragon scale, and another metal coat. So yea they increased the rates but not sure by how much.

Its my unproven theory that when events are running you're more likely to get real lucky in various ways. I play pretty hard when there aren't events. I suppose I do play even harder when they're running though. That could be an equally big part of it too...

After my walk just now I got 2 kings rock during this time Im thinking its just luck but who knows if during events you get some kind of boost but I doubt it

I got a Sun Stone yesteday.
Today I got a Metal Coat, and my son got a Kings Rock and a Dragon Scale, in around 50 pokestops.

So jealous of his D Scale...I have never had one and it is all I need of the evo items for my dex

Although I walked 7 km in a park with 10 pokestops on the loop trail, I didn't get a single one... and still have never gotten the one I really need: metal coat.

It just wasn't my lucky day - my three 10k eggs hatched the following:
Mantine
Sudowoodo
Pineco

So I don't know - RNG, or you're all very lucky!

Update: Walked 6 km in a park with many pokestops today and got one sun stone. So no, no more frequent than usual.
