Who will be the ma*champ* when moves change again

If you had to guess who do you think will benefit the most when new moves come out?

Also

Who do you WANT to benefit the most?

Granbull....when they finally make a Fairy quick move.

That is probably not accurate at all, it is just a comment on the lack of Fairy quick moves at the moment.

A fairy quick move could make Granbull a relevant enough dragonite counter to get people to power him up. If you don't have a Lapras or another ice Pokémon that's good Atleast.

...and Tyranitar.

He could actually become a viable attacker into the top half of gyms that are heavily stacked with DNites and Tyranitars together.
You could use him without switching betwen mons.

And even Snorlax, probably faster than Vaporeon.

Damn never thought about that. If someone deserves a move upgrade it's Tyranitar he got screwed especially with a 33% chance of getting fire blast.

Not sure of Granbull is tanky enough for both of them though, especially not Tyranitar. Iron Tail is super effective to fairy types. (Also why I only use clefable specifically for dragon tail dragonites)

Steelix and/or Scizor for me. Both are cool mons and Steel is a niche type that could benefit from a nice buff yet would not be too overpowered.

I mean as an attacker (since the OP's comparison was made to Machamp's rebalance which pivoted him from obscure mon to top dog in the attacking department).

Perhaps I read too much into it but I didn't think the OP was talking about anything other than in an attacking sense.

Steelix/Scizor would make terrible defenders, by the way, due to their terrible defensive typing!

When Steel will be a type with strong defenders as the type implies from my point of view (steel armours, steel tanks?), finally Fire mons will shine as they should as most relevant attackers :).

Not exactly a new moveset but I think Kingdra needs to be taken in account for Niantic because yeah she has good movesets but her low CP taking in consideration the 125 candies needed to evolve a horsea + a rare evolution item.. I don't know, maybe it's because I have a 100% IV Kingdra and I would like that she was more useful

PoGo is my first taste of Pokémon, so I wouldn't like to speculate, but I get the impression that most of the nerfs and buffs to individual species so far have largely brought things more into line with the original games? I'm thinking of the buffs to Gengar (although he was subsequently nerfed with Hex replacing Shadow Claw), Alakazam and more recently Machamp of course.

Does any species still stand out as being under-represented in PoGo compared to the main series? Surely Arcanine is due a buff?

Not a mon, but I world like Psychic to get a buff and become 2-bar again. Power 60 or 70.

An exegutor with Confusion and a two bar psychic would be awesome

Probably should add a new string for moves versus mons.

For moves

  1. I believe megahorn will change to 2 bars.

Would benefit rhydon with mega horn moveset...its a ridiculous choice for charge move without this change.
