I think the big update announcement will appear on Niantic website in 27 days 16 hours 26 minutes and 57 second within posting the last answer to the second question posted on this page tomorrow morning.

that'd be too long remember they're trying to have big updates every 3 months. We got gen2 back February now we either have to get something big this month or June.

So? They are trying to get rid of spoofing...how has that been going? Just because they are "trying" things doesn't mean it will happen in a timely manner.
