Do events influence nest spawns?

In other words, if a park was a nest for a non-grass species at the most recent nest migration, will the park continue to spawn that non-grass species at the same rate during the grass event?

In my area, the nest pokémon's spawn rates have been increased.

The nests I've been to over the weekend do seem to have the appropriate number of spawns for the nesting species. If there is a difference, it's imperceivable. Grass just seem to have higher representation amongst the non-nest Pokemon.
