All normal wild pokemon are back! No more double candies...though buddy is still needing 1/4 distance so far.
What is happening to ya'll?

My buddy reset, from 0.6km/1.25km on Lapras to 0.6km/5km.

I read somewhere that Niantic was thinking of reconfiguring buddy distances though. Who's your buddy? Maybe some were left at 1/4 while others (e.g. Snorlax/Lapras) were reset. If so, I'll greatly regret not walking Lapras during the event - I only put her in today. If Growlithe and Grimer are both lower now that'd be a real waste...

Yes. I also swapped my Lapras out to check, all Pokemon are at the full regular amounts.

So it has reset, but I guess it will stay as is until you log out (or maybe until you get the next candy).

Got 1.25/1.25 Km but I didn't get candy. I logged out and now I'm 1.3/5 Km

The shorter candy distance is over, if you fill the meter now it will only count as 1/4 of a candy. I had 1 km on my Snorlax, update hit, I got the whole circle around and got no candy. Upon re-logging the app it said "1.2/5 km" so there is no way to expolit it by not logging out, sorry.

My buddy is a Dratini...and it reset too from 0.7/1.25 to 0/1.25..Now I turned off - on and it's 1.3/5.
So it's over...
Great experience and very good results for me...
And also for Niantic

Sad about buddy/candy. Glad the gastlys are gone, it was a little overkill.
