Is a 100% IV Golbat good?

My friend owns a Golbat of 2000 CP and it's his birthday today, happy birthday Brian, and I wanted to know if 100% IV carries any weight with any of you despite the fact that Golbat isn't exactly top tier.

Are you referring to Crobat and if it has Air Slash/ Sludge Bomb it's a pretty solid attacker! Happy B-day to your friend!

You mean Crobat? He is a really solid pokemon both on offense and defense. I use mine of offense to switch things up, but he isnt a top tier pokemon.

He has one of the highest speed stats in the original games so right now he's a sick trophy and he has potential to get a lot better depending on how the gym rework turns out.

A 100% Crobat with Air Slash / Sludge Bomb is a decent attacker into non-psychic (non Exeggutor) grass defenders like for example: [(never seen any in a gym)]
so if someone would put Venusaur in a Gym, attacking it with Crobat would be great.

In this particular example, venusaur's partial poison typing negates the super effectiveness of sludge bomb.

But as aldonis was saying, this combination hits hard on grass types. Crobat also double resists bug and fighting (e.g. machamp, butterfree, scyther, heracross)
