Tyranitar question

So I have this 86% IV Tyranitar with the worst moveset, and I have nearly enough candies to evolve another one. The problem is if I get a second Tyranitar I won't have the candies to power it up. Larvitars are also really rare and I won't be spending money on incubators anymore. Should I just power this IT/FB one? And is that moveset really that bad? I have a good team of attackers already but I'd really want to use a Tyranitar for offense. I am level 34. Thanks.

I don't have this moveset so I don't know if its good. I'd just say that this game generally rewards patience and if you already have a good attacking team PLUS you don't like the moveset on this tyranitar, then wait. Why sacrifice hard earned candy and dust on something you don't like.

Think of it this way, the next time you evolve a tyranitar, you have a 5/6 chance of getting a better moveset than what you have now. Sounds good to me.

If you don't feel like walking, power it up. If you don't mind walking for the candy, evolve it. That's what happened to me with my dragonite. I decided to walk, and I was rewarded when I evolved. But that doesn't happen every time.

I only have IT/FB myself but I don't need the others to know that it really sucks. Incredibly slow on offense and Fire Blast is very predictable on defense.

I would really want an Attacker Tyranitar, so go for Bite!

I got an IT/Crunch Tryanator. I wanted an attacker, and reconciled myself to powering it up, instead of evolving another one. (Walking 625km to maybe get another IT one was a disincentive to trying again.) I figured the stats of IT are similar to ZH on an egg. (The energy build is 50% slower than ZH. Otherwise, it is pretty similar.) In gyms, I can attack with it, but it doesn't feel like my best attacker.

Maybe, TMs will come, Maybe, IT will get a bit of a buff. Maybe, I will stumble on a larvitar nest. Until, then, I have a big scarecrow to stick in gyms.

To be honest I would keep saving candies and hope you hatch another one sometime. At best you could power it up and stick it in a gym as a high CP defender, even though it isn't the greatest moveset.

It is better for defense though than attacking.
