Hey all. I evolved/catched some pokemon and would like to read your opinion about to power up them. I am actually 170k stardust and level 30.
Blastoise cp1601, 78% IV, Water Gun/ Hydro Pump;
Poliwrath cp1563, 93% IV, Bubble/ Ice Punch;
Arcanine cp2217, 71/73% IV, Fire Fang/ Fire Blast;
Snorlax cp1535, 82.2% IV, Lick/ Body Slam.
You got some nice ones there.
The Snorlax is the best attacker of the bunch i think, but arcanine is close behind and he's already much higher cp if you want to save stardust.
That Poliwrath is awesome for defending and so high IV! It's even better than your snorlax because lick isn't that good for defense.
Don't do the Blastoise whatever you do though, a vaporeon with water gun/ hydro pump is better anyways and much easier to get candies for.
Thank you. I already have other Snorlax 93.3% with ZH/BS at full power to defense, so this one would be focused only to attack. The Arcanine have a nice CP already (evolved a cp971 Growlithe) but not good IVs (only 71 or 73%) so its a good choice to power or better to keep him in 2200+ (still strong) and wait a 90%+?. Poliwrath will cost lots of stardust to reach 2100+ but the IV and moveset are awesome...its better to wait for a 80%+ with more CP and perfect move or start powering up?. Blastoise is a nice one but yea Vaporeon can do better.
If you do not have access to catch that type of pokemon or it takes a while to grind then I would suggest just leveling it up. Not only do you have to grind, but you might not have the same moveset when it evolves. Unless you have a nest or easy access to Growlithe where I live then just wait it out.
Poliwrath is my favorite defender. He will have around 2200 when you power him up at 30 and will be a huge surprise to most attackers.
He's high on lists for good reason. It's a lot of dust though, it's up to you. The others aren't really appealing. Arcanine is already high enough, snorlax candy should be saved, blastoise disappoints but looks badass.
