Gym Rework?
What's all this talk about an upcoming gym rework? How soon will this happen, and what's your all's thoughts on what it will consist of?

I really fear some key aspects that probably will be implemented...Like paying upkeep feeding mon (this only benefits spoofers than can go back whenever they want to the farest gyms they have), or the cooperative part.
The can make it more coop by adding raids, an alert on the game while you are walking that says a raid has start at this gym/stop near you, you can go and participate to get extra coins/dust/rewards, that is ok with me, but don't get rid of gyms for solo players.
I play solo most of the time, what is the point if I can no longer take down a gym or place a mon while soloing? Again a huge advantage for cheaters/spoofers/botters/multi account users.
This gym rework can be amazing or a huge mistake...time will tell...
Does anyone think that perhaps the slow quick move system when gen 2 was launched was a prelude to the gym rework coming soon?
Maybe they want to make moves so slow that there is more time to deal with lag and people would have to attack together (this is something they have stated they wanted) since it would be impossible to solo gyms if quick moves went to 2+ seconds per move...
Save your Pokecoins, 10 gyms maybe a thing of the past IMO.
Another thing maybe a free berry type item on 7 day streaks so if you want to stay in a gym, every week, it needs 1 berry so each trainer account can only have 1 gym a week.
Stops spoofers since each account can't get more than 1 anyways.
If they do that I really hope they make some kind of quests that rewards pokecoins instead of gyms. Better remove coins reward from all gym system and made them obtainable with daliy quests.
For example spin x stops, catch x mon, make x great throws, walk x km, hatch an egg, you get 10 coins and 500 dust for each quest daily. This way spoofers and botters can only do them once too and gym system will be different with less cheaters.
If they remove coins and don't give anything to replace them the game will die, 100 coins per day is not a lot and you really need to work a lot to get that amount. Low level and rural players probably get 1-2 gyms per day, that is 10 or 20 coins, so a week to get a lucky egg or 2 weeks for an incubator...
I would be pretty mad if they remove all ways to get free coins, the game will become 100% pay to win. No one without money will had any kind of a chance on a pvp battle for example or in a tournamente if someday they add tournaments or competitions.
