Should I evolve one of these chansey?

Well I was super lucky today and hatched two 10km eggs from the event. Both chansey. One is 75% IV so I don't care about it. I will just store it. But I got another..

A) CP 789 HP 307 Dust 2500. Stats A11 D13 S14 84.4%. Max CP 1779

but I also got an older one hatched 3 months ago.

B) CP 820 HP 305 Dust 2500. Stats A14 D13 S11 84.4%. Max CP 1812

The only Blissey I have is currently CP 2143 A11 D15 S14 88.9% with Zen Headbutt and Psychic. I want another even tough they are 84% I might get a better moveset. Differences are minimal, I think I'd go with the B) just because of the max CP and perhaps more attack. HP is tank anyway.

I think you are right if you're not going to power the third option.

Well If I get the same moveset as the third I will keep feeding it... I mean is 88% so it's a bit better. That was a 600+ chansey so you can imagine. I been walking 190km with the Chansey for 25candy for evolve and then powering up...

What is the IV distribution of the 34/45 Chansey? Because Blissey's stats are so skewed, only looking at IV total is not a good indication of how good the Blissey will be. It could be the case that it has higher max CP if it has a high attack IV.

How much Chansey candy do you currently have as well? If you only have enough to evolve a Chansey but not power it further, I would rather power up the Blissey so that it can start earning stardust and coins sooner, and once it's at a point where it doesn't need powering, then you can start saving up for another Blissey evolution.

If you have enough to evolve a Chansey and power it up to a high enough CP for your area, sure why not evolve it. If you get a better moveset, power that one up obviously. If you get the same moveset you still end up with a powered up Blissey that can sit in gyms either way.

Hi, I dont understand what is "34/45" Chansey. You mean the one I said 75%? If you mean that 10/13/11 305hp. 2500 dust.

I have 64 Candy.

I just wanted to see if I get a better moveset. For example if it is ZH / DG then it will be better than the 88%. And I could leave that last one at 2150 is not that bad.. it's still hard to kill. I mean I killed 2700 Blissey is not THAT big deal. All of them are bothering. Remember a pokemon is 90% strong at lvl30... that 2150 is close to 30 already..

34/45 IV total.

While it has 4 less total IV points than the first Chansey you listed, it will have a higher CP because it's got fewer points allocated into stamina - which makes the least difference in both CP and duelling ability on a Chansey - and more points into attack - which makes the most difference in CP, and arguably in duelling ability if you're concerned about total damage done rather than maximising your odds of timing out the enemy.

If you only have enough candies to evolve and not power up the new Blissey, then having a better moveset doesn't help when it can't defend gyms effectively. If it sits at the bottom it gets kicked out / shaved first and also makes the gym harder to prestige up - all the more likely for someone to shave you off.

A level 30 Pokemon is about 90% effective as a theoretical level 40 Pokemon but a level 20 is "only" 75%. If level 20 Pokemons were strong enough then people wouldn't power up their attackers any further but they do.

Taking a Pokemon from 20 to 30 takes 66 candies, which you just about have enough for. With that you could take the Blissey you already have to a CP high enough where it could sit in a gym for several months while you're walking to evolve your Chansey.

Between now, and the time it takes for you to get enough candies to evolve a Chansey and power it up, you could be earning 10 extra coins and 500 dust a day with that Blissey, whereas if you evolve the Chansey and then walk until you have enough candies to power it up it still costs the same number of candies but you're not earning any coins between the time it takes to get 50 candies / walk 250km.

And like you said, all Blisseys are annoying to defeat. The moveset is not that important so why bother when you already have one that could be powered up almost to level 30.

Wow that's so intertesting.. it let me bloody thinking now... and you might be 100% correct. However my city is not free of spoofers. I doubt I can keep any pokemon for a month. I am Mystic which have some spoofers of course but Valor is the big spoofing team here.

Look the attachment. I reported in my team facebook and they took down that gym in less than 48hs. Sure it was a big work but if they can do imagine a spoofer. Most of those guys in that list are spoofers and it lacks of Germanceteee another big one.

That's why I tought. Better 1 Blissey 2150 + another 2000ish. Than 1 Blissey 2600.

The decision is hard. If I use the 64 candy and I want to evolve the other I will have to walk 250km Oo beast... unless I hatch another of course. The current walked with my Chansey is 190km for 3months +/-

I will re-reply. A level 20 will be easier but not THAT much easier than a level 20. It's an annoying pokemon if you don't use the correct attacker so I don't see it that useful unless you have like 100000candy.

What I will finally do is this: I will take my current blissey the most I can BUT not touching 50 candy. That means I have 14. What If I get by those World Odds a 100%IV chansey and no candy for powerup? yes that would be really unlikely but having to walk 250km for it will kill me :D

Also regarding prestige I only use my Blissey in a level 8 gym or more and only if he is not that the end.
