Can't play because cellular network down....

.... not just my provider's (Verizon), but all of them?!

At about 1:40 p.m. EDT I was attacking a gym and suddenly got "No internet connectivity." Nothing worked, so I drove home and got on Wifi. Sure enough - there are widespread outages affecting ALL U.S. cellular network providers! Can't even make a cell phone call.

What's up with that?

So much for my special event :(

Wow that sucks.

This is one of the reasons why I'm happy that I'm in a city where free WIFI is almost everywhere. Even when I'm underground on the train there is still internet even if there is no cellular service.

Oh, that's an idea - the city (25 miles away) has free Wifi in some parks! Thanks for the info.

I am, however, wondering what's up with the cell networks. Nothing on the news at all.

If you have a lot of money you can spend a fortune on incenses, pokeballs and lucky eggs, you would get a lot of xp. Maybe there is a place on your city with wifi and a pokestop, then you would just have to find a few lures.

Not a lot of money, but am currently using incense and a lucky egg in my backyard while doing evolutions (otherwise nothing spawns here!) Totally worth it.

Hoping the network will be back tomorrow.... So I can hatch some eggs!
