too late, I put my 4 saved up 10k eggs in incubators this morning. Whatever happens when they hatch is fine with me.
also I don't bother with lucky eggs any more. This game is so much simpler when just catching, hatching and transferring. I only evolve when I actually want the evolved mon.
No worries about saving mons to evolve, no more evolve/lucky egg sessions.

Anyone thinking of NOT hatching 10km eggs until double candies?
From the early reports, it sounds like both NEW and OLD eggs are just giving +1-3 candies more per hatch which is pretty lame...
This is decent perhaps for 2km eggs which are normally only 5-10 candies, but for 10km eggs, getting that extra 16-32 candies (minimum of 32) was awesome and 64 candies could take a mon nearly from Lvl 20 - 30...(I had this for Chansey during Halloween).
Since I'm pretty patient, I'm thinking I should just wait to hatch 10km eggs and only hatch them all if there is double candies or if I get 9 10km eggs, I don't have a choice...
Since I don't think I really need the extra 2k exp from the 10km egg hatch (Lvl 33+) and can just use that time to do more evolves (400-600 possible currently), I think I'd rather save them in case Niantic does something to get double candies again.
I don't have plans to use blue incubators for 2km eggs at all and can hatch 3x 2km eggs a day anyways.
From the new 2km hatches, I would only want Larvitar since I need more defenders and don't mind too much not completing my deck.
I suppose I simply care more about bonus candies than a bit more EXP.
I'd probably get at least 1 lucky egg pack since it'll probably never be cheaper (even though I'm sitting on 23 lucky eggs already).
Anyone else thinking of the same?
I could probably get 9 more 10km eggs in 2 months I guess so it's just whether I really care that much about 2k exp extra.

I get shaved off regularly in gyms so for some strange reason, I still want to level ASAP, but not that badly that I actually want to grind non-stop at lured stops for 8+ hours than just play during my normal walks/routine...
Have kids too which makes grinding impossible...
But yeah, until I hit 40, I probably will just keep leveling ASAP since gyms are getting close to 3000CP min here now.

Gyms around here are crazy,
either filled with 10 blisseys from some selfish douche with multiple accounts, or have a base of 3k.
So yes leveling is important but powering up just the right mons just enough to get in gyms can do the trick.
I'm trying to manage the stardust/candy/gyms.
So you plan to wait....indefinately - to hatch 10k eggs? Waiting for an event that has no vuarentee of ever happening, much less anytime soon? Thats the plan? Good luck. In the meantime the rest of us will jave hatched dozens of 10k eggs and aquired mord than enough candy to compensate waiting for months. ....i hope yoi dont end up with double Gilgar candy for your patience!
Nah, I tend to hatch one when I get no eggs after 8...So I go from 7-9 (never 9 actually yet)...
Like knowing there will be double exp, there will eventually be double candies again and I'll just slowly hatch a 10km if I get nothing after an egg hatches.
I suppose I am just in no real rush and rather get 16-32 more candies instead of whatever is in the 10km egg...1 good hatch alone will save you 80-160 km of walking...
I think niantic gonna aime for two events per quarter so from a month to two months between any given events , keeping in mind that the next event will mostly be catching type so we are talking about 3 + months that is sooooo long of a wait from st Patrick's day to today seems indefinite waiting , so whatever the reason is , I don't think waiting is justified
With the intro of pinap berries there is a chance they never do double candy again. I think if they do another double candy event gyms will be even larger as spoofers will benefit the greatest. I see Niantic rewarding cash players more going forward like the current event does. Just a hunch but legit big cash players are the red headed step child here while every other app game they would be invincible.
