How many gold coins do you have?
Don't spend them on much, been saving up for awhile, cash in 7-10 each day. And in anticipation of the event, they may be getting some use. I've gotten 4280 saved up so far. How about you?

I'd have waited in your shoes...Hatching them now vs. tomorrow won't make much difference...Also, if there were "Easter" baskets with 1/2 off Incubators, it'd feel real bad...
Even if you needed new eggs to get the rare mons per the supposed leak, it's easy to walk 10km in 1 or 2 days and get brand new eggs...
I've been collecting the max daily defender for months.
I only spend coins on lucky eggs and incubators. I still have 3 eggs from the 25 I brought in August and buy 8 incubators about every 2 weeks when I do 9 10K batch hatch.
It's a good system.
100 a day X 14 days= 1400 - 1200 for 8 incubators leave 200 coins in excess to build up for lucky eggs.
It takes 6 weeks to use all the incubators on a bi-weekly 9 10K batch hatch with 7 day catch and Spin streak with lucky egg. I keep collecting my daily max bonus and by the time all the incubators are depleted I already have added another +4200 coins to the pool to buy more incubators -1200 and now lucky eggs at 1250 for 25.
By the time the cycle ends it will be 1750+4200 coins to spend on more incubators and no need to buy lucky eggs because only 3 were used.
Rinse and repeat. I have never spend real money in this game and there is no real need to if a player can keep getting their max daily defender bonus.
Wow. That's a really cool system. Hmmm...it seems like you could also afford to run an odd incubator here or there on certain 5K eggs prior to the multiple 10K hatch every so often to get a full set a bit sooner. I'm not at work to break the math down but wow at that coin surplus that extremely impressive.
I don't run a constant 8 incubators or anything like that normally, so I don't mind giving up some egg slots for a bit in preparation for an event. If it means I'll run less incubators during the last couple of weeks before an event, I'll have more coins saved up for the actual event. I don't buy coins, but I do get them from gyms.
13900 earlier today and 12850 at the moment. Like SirMikster I bought 7 incubators after the rumors/leaks to start my 10k stack.
In general, I've just been amassing gym coins in case they will ever come in handy for legendaries. I'm happy with the mons I have and regular egg hatching isn't that important to me. Outside of events I only buy incubators for each 10k I have beyond 6.
I get the max 100 coins per day, and I spend 'em.
I have always hatched eggs quickly, and I think if you don't you're missing a ton of XP and stardust. For the first few months I spent quite a bit buying coins; now I mostly pay with gym rewards. Every few weeks I will spend $5 to buy a few incubators.
