If you're faced w/ a level 10 3K+ Blissey gym who are you taking? (your own specific strategy time or potion efficiency)

If you're going to say I'll pass to save on time don't respond.

I would start off w/ a suicide squad: leadoff: FS/OH Flareon, mid rotation: 2 FS/FT Flareon, 1 E/OH Flareon, closer: B/HP Gary. (litmus test squad I have to see which ones have DG so I can avoid using Nite against those)

My 6 would be: lead off: DB/DP Dragonite, mid rotational grinders: C/DP Champ, B/C Tyranitar, and DT/O Dragonite, and my closer would be DB/DP Dragonite.

Every gym around me is now full of blisseys.
I appreciate your dedication.
Maybe when "raids" can happen we'll have 10 buddies to help take these blisseys down.
I'd just go with the suicide squad.

I run stuff like you do as my exploratory group but it varies depending on what's in gyms or available.

Then I run some mix of a set of 3300ish Dragons with DT/H, DT/H, DT/HB, DB/DC, DB/DC, and I'm adding a Tyranitar with B/SE this week. I have had no luck with Machamp yet and it really irritates me.

In that scenario, I'm taking... my cellphone and going to find another gym.

I would like to kick the first defender out then leave the gym.

This might be a good strategy actually...Kick one out, leave it VERY easy to open up a spot, someone will prestige up and put a Gyarados, Dnite or Rhydon...

Rinse/repeat and all the Blisseys will be gone!

Teamwork! Find 2 team members to help and it is a lot easier.

I fight Blissey towers everyday but not those that are held by only 3k ones. Respect those and leave them be, there are alot better things to do with your time.

For those with 10x Blisseys with the top few at 3k and the rest below there is only 1 lineup that i can reliably use to get through them, 2x B/SE Tyranitar, 1x B/C Tyranitar, 2x FF Machamp and 1xDB/DC Dragonite.

Love to use him on attacking with confusion and FS.

Don't laugh at me but I like to use my maxed out Starmie against Zen Headbutt Blisseys.

Nothing wrong w/ Starmie since it resists ZH but too much of a glass cannon for me. Does it work vs high level Blisseys?

I dont worry about Blissys at all. I use all Exxegutors with Solar Beam and I prestige them. I can normally get 1 Blissey with 2 or less Exxegutors.

Dude,
we are not talking about beating one random blissey in a gym, we are talking taking on 10 blesseys stacked on top of each other.
Until you are surrounded by every gym in your area filled with 10 blesseys you don't know the horror.
I for one have no interest in such boring elongated battles. It really makes me want to quit the game.

There is no way to beat a level 10 all blessey gym solo with 6 attackers only, even they are all 3500k Dragonites.

Tyranitar with Bite Stone Edge can take out 1.5 Blisseys at same level, so yeah it's definitely possible with a stable of Tyranitars. Even with a couple and some other high end attackers it can definitely be done -- defeating 10 Blisseys with your team of 6, that is.

ok let's be real. Do u have 6 tyrantars with all bite/stone edge to go for it? It's possible like u said but I don't think it can be done with other attackers

B/SE Tyranitar is the best option against the HB and P Blisseys since Tyranitar resists every Blissey attack except for DG. Expect to get through 2+ Blisseys per B/SE Tyranitar, if you are skilled at dodging and dodge everything.

DG Blisseys should be by far the most troubling ones. You won't be able to get through 2+ of them per attacker, like the HB and P ones, but you should be able to get through 1 with HP remaining. And there isn't an obvious choice for attacker. Machamp, Flareon, Dragonite, and Tyranitar are all good choices with different advantages and disadvantages.

Also note that the Blissey battles will be tremendously easier with far more attacker lineup options, if you battle with a friend or small group instead of solo.

Come to South America. You'll find a Heracross in every corner.

I would love to face a gym like that. I would take a mix of Tyranitars B/SE/C and Dragonites DB/DC & DT/O/HU. Dodge only charge moves. Then when gym is down to two Blissey's I'll take my two Machamps C/DP to clean up.

GS1, I assume you live in the SF bay area...
just cross the GGB and head north on 101. Level 10 gyms full of Blisseys are everywhere. Come and take them all down for me, please.

It sounds like you are so lucky with a luxury, perfect squad. I only evolved somethings like: Counter/HeavySlam or BulletPunch/DynamicPunch Champs or IT/SE Tyranitars

I would take many of the same mons mentioned here, but the best one not mentioned already is probably another 3k Blissey.

Blissey even with P/HB times out vs a similar level Blissey...

Ursaring counter/close combat works good in addition to the Dragonites. Also like using Vaporeon with aqua tail

I would use:

DT/O Dragonite
DB/DC Dragonite
DB/DC Dragonite 2
C/SoB Exeguttor
DB/DP Dragonite
C/CC Machamp

If I was to do it on solo I would ideally want to moderately be well stocked with revives & potions so that's there's no worry about that. I'd then select the six-pack I feel can take a Blissey gym apart the fastest because speed is an issue so as not to timeout. I'm fortunate because I'm high level and subscribe to the school of thought that maxing out powerful or good mons is a goal. Therefore, my six pack includes a 3.4k D'nite with DB/DC, a 3.5k Tyrant with B/SE, a couple of 3.2k Snorlax with L/HB. I'd also maybe include a 3.1k Gyarados with B/DP, which I've found surprisingly effective, and perhaps another with DT/Outrage. Another option is a 3.1k D'nite with DT/H. This team would cut through several Blissey, perhaps 6-8 or so, depending on their movesets. It wouldn't matter if I don't beat the ten right off because defeating several will drag the prestige down. This is possibly a battle of attrition, but I'd like to see such a thing, it'd bea real challenge. Another team recently put up a lvl 10 gym in my area, perhaps for my benefit, filled with Snorlax and 2 or 3 Blissey. That was much easier because the Rhydon wall beats Snorlax, but Blissey impose a time constraint, so power, speed and sacrifice is the answer. Even beating 2 at a time drags the gym down, therefore try some of your mons. Given time and sufficient revives and posts anyone could probably take down such a gym, so long as you can get past the timeout barrier.

I would not be able to beat it for sure, but this is my best lineup for that:
C/CC Machamp - to gain confidence :); I can do it
DB/DC - to keep my confidence - here I hope to be deep into 3rd Blissey
C/FS Espeon or C/P Exe - hmm, maybe I get lucky and finish the 4th one
HP Vap lvl 35.5 - you can beat everything, confidence back :) - fuck, I took a Psychic. Don't worry, Vape can deal with it; 5th down, one quarter into 6th;
AT Vap or DT/Hp Gya - common, don't miss the special dodge again, and here I am almost half of 7th one
HP Vap lvl 30 or SW/O Dragonite (don't have idea how it fights, I power up just before putting him on top of a stable gym :(; still there after 3 weeks ) - 7th down. Better luck next time, rearrange, maybe get 8 down :).
Or try KC/CC Machamp on the mix, replacing smaller Vap or Espeon/Exe.
