Who thinks TM's will be added to the game?

Who else has his/her pokemon storage at 1.000 and almost filled. When that happens you have to start thinking about which pokemon you want to keep and which pokemon to get rid off. That made me think about TM's. I figured they will be added to the game at some point, because in all the pokemon games you get to use TM's to influence your pokemon's moveset.

If this does get added to the game, the question will be how? I feel like a system including candies (for a specific pokemon) would be nice. For example if you have a Vaporeon with water gun and aqua tail, but you much rather have Hydro pump, you can go to the shop and you can exchange, for example, 50 candies to get the hydro pump TM for Vaporeon. (Maybe with the additional price of some coins if the game wants to make more money).

If a system like this would be used in the future then it would be best to keep all your highest IQ pokemon, even if they have terrible movesets. No need to evolve a new one for a better moveset, because it would be better to save the questions so you can get the TM's you need.

Ofcourse I'm only speculating and I'm NOT saying I know it will be added this way.

I was wondering if any of you guys have given any thought to how TM's will be added to the game and if it's influencing your playstyle at this moment.

If I were Ninatic, I would add TMs like evolution items level rarity. You could add them exactly like Evolution items with random chance + 1 guaranteed per seven day.

Better perhaps, would be to do it based on catches. Random chance to get a TM and guaranteed chance to get one on 7 day catch.

Then you would use them similiar to how you use a potion. Click on it, it opens your window, scroll and select a "Eligible" pokemon. Put a confirm box in as well.

Eligible would likely be either
a) knows the move in pokemon go
b) knows/learns the move in any version of pokemon

A very very limited supply of these would be good for the game.

yes they should totally do that, that'd be cool!

TMs should be very rare items that you get from pokestops and there should be tiers of rarity like:

Ultra Rare - Hydro Pump, Overheat, Dragon Breath etc.
Rare / Uncommon and Common ones like Tackle or Fury Cutter for instance.

Sounds good.
Also, in the main series after learning moves you can go to some guy who remembers all your pokemon moves and you can change back to a previous moveset. It would be nice in pokemon go as well if you can change moves any time you want (Only for the Original and TM's used moves for that pokemon). For example if you have a Gyarados with Crunch and you use a TM to change it into Hydro Pump but later you want Crunch back than you can change back between these moves. As you use more TM you can change between more movesets. Ofcourse a single TM can only be used for one pokemon and with the rarity of TM's you'll hace to choose carefully. Just a thought.

I would like to see TMs introduced as a reward for battling. (Maybe every 100th knockout by a given mon you get a TM for one of their moves to use on a mon that can learn that move.) There is already enough randomness in pokestops.

TMs will be added but who knows when. It could be far down the line (as in years), perhaps even after they run out of generations of mons to add.
