Perfect Machamp with Counter/Heavy Slam, Worth the dust?

I have one with same moves, and I'm thinking of powering it up for defence, probably after I see what the gym rework is all about. Think of all the fighting type counters that will be surprised with a steel move. If the CP gym hierarchy stays in place, yours will be closer to the top than mine anyway, I don't get lucky with perfect IV.

It is perfect and it have counter so i would do it, but it is worse than DP ones.

Hmmmm tough one I can't say it's better than BP/DP I might have to say hold off on powering it up.

As a general rule, moveset is more important than IV for an attacker. For example, in simulation a 0% IV C/DP tremendously outperforms a 100% IV C/HS against Tyranitar -- the 0% DP is much faster and has far better health. If you want to collect 100% mons, power up the 100%. If you want good battle results, power up one with a good moveset.
