Unown

Ok a bit of a straw poll.
All those who do not have an Unown say "aye"

The main point is - Are we ever going to be in a position where we can fill the dex with all the variants of Unown if they are so ridiculously rare?

But, variants doesn't get a different dex entry currently. You could complete the dex with only one Unown.

Yup, only requires one Unown to fill the Rex entry.

If you look at the picture I posted below, there is no indication that this one is a certain "letter" although I looked it up and I think this is letter "R". I can confirm that it fills the Dex entry. I caught him in Boston Common about 3 days after Gen 2 dropped.

Aye. I'd be surprised if I ever find one, rare pokemon are VERY rare in my small town. I only ever find anything rare when I am somewhere else or when I'm hatching 10 km eggs.

Can't say Aye. But I can tell you they like to spawn in industrial areas, like train yards and stuff like that. Honestly like a lot of other things, Niantic will make a change -- spawn rate, event, add to eggs, etc.

There may not be a Pokedex entry for all the Unown (one unown and you fill the Dex slot) but I believe there is a medal you can earn by catching all 26 variants.
