Gyarados is exceptional...
...as it gives only 100 stardust and 3 candies when captured in the wild, despite being an evolved pokémon.
Bug or feature?

Wow, I knew this about Gyarados but not Blissey. I've even caught a wild Blissey! I guess I was so excited about it I didn't even notice the 3 candy :( Chansey candy is so hard to find... my Blissey has been my buddy since I got it and will stay there for the foreseeable future. Even Dratini or Larvitar I come across occasionally..
The title of the post should be...NIANTIC is exceptional, not many companies making that money are doing that bad on their own products lol.
The list of bugs on the game keeps growing with every single update, crashes, battery drains, overheat, nearby disappearing, gps huge drifts, bots/hackers/spoofers, gyms you can't even interact with, store that freezes and makes you purchase double items (they don't even return you the money in that cases), pokémon you catch and disappear from your inventory, pokéstops that sometimes you can't spin or lure despite being in range...And I could go one all day long.
I have said it many times and not much has changed, if the game name was "enteryourname GO", it would have disappear on the first 3 months. They are very lucky a lot of us love pokémon world and the augmented reality thing is just something new and amazing to experience, as soon as other AR known and nice games come the future of pokémon go will be hard, almost non existant I think.
There are a lot of things that can't be explained of their way of doing things, the bug where the pinap berry catch showed 5 candies upon catch instead of 6 stayed for a month, A MONTH, and that was the most simple thing to change, even a simple server side change that could have been done in like 10 mins or even less, like when they do 2xcandy or 2x dust event, it can't be excused on any way.
