Shiny Pokemon Research Poll?

Would Gamepress be willing to create a research poll like the Hidden Power one? Where trainer share the data on what stats their shiny Magikarp and/or Gyarados have? I'm talking exact IVs, CP, HP, level, height, weight and gender.

There's a system from the main games: In Generation II, Shininess is determined by the IVs of a Pokémon. If a Pokémon's Speed, Defense, and Special IVs are all 10, and its Attack IV is 2, 3, 6, 7, 10, 11, 14 or 15, it will be Shiny.

I'm wondering if a similar pattern could be established In Pokemon GO. If a pattern is ascertained, that could allow map creators to show Shiny Pokemon, not just for Magikarp but for any future Shiny Niantic releases.

(I did ask this on the Shiny Pokemon post, but figured I'd double my odds of being heard by Gamepress. Thanks for all the work you do guys!)

A pokemon can be shiny for one player but not another.
That is, just because you engage it and it becomes shiny, does not mean that the next person to engage it will get a shiny.
I suspect this is a specific measure to ensure they don't show up on maps etc as well as adding a neat mechanic to finding one.

That said, gathering data on all the shinies caught would still be cool.

It has been proven that if 2 players encounter the same pokemon if it's shiny for one of them it's not guaranteed to be shiny for the other player, it theoretically could be, but so far it hasn't been reported (the opposite has, multiple times), so I if shinyness was determined by stats, the same shiny pokemon would be shiny for all players who encounter it. So on that grounds it doesn't make much sense to run the suggested poll.
