- +3 Candy for completing raids
- +1 XL Candy for completing raids for players Lv.31+
- Rocket Grunts are more likely to have Dark or Fire Pokemon
- A Collection Challenge will be available
- A Timed Research line will be available
- While completing the Timed Research, players will be able to pick one of the following two bonuses:
- Incense will be more likely to attract Dark Type Pokemon
- Incense will be more likely to attract Fire Type Pokemon
- Turtonator and Mega Sableye will make their debut in Pokemon Go
- Heatran will be available in raids, and will be given access to its Signature Move, Magma Storm
- A selection of Pokemon will appear more frequently in the wild
- A selection of Pokemon will be available in raids
- A selection of Pokemon will be available via event-themed Field Research
