Niantic Launches the Web Store for Pokemon Go

Submit Feedback or Error

It looks like making microtransactions in-game is no longer the play, as Niantic has officially announced the launch of their new online Web Store.

The Pokemon Go Web Store links to players' accounts and allows for the online purchase of Pokecoins and bundles, and also promises additional Pokecoins for purchases when compared to in-app purchases. On top of that, the Web Store will also feature exclusive deals, like the "Ultra Legend Box", which featured the following for $24.99 or equivalent local currency value:

  • 2 Elite Charged TMs
  • 2 Elite Fast TMs
  • 10 Super Incubators
  • 5 Premium Battle Passes

If you make purchases for Pokemon Go, then this is definitely something to keep an eye on, as it seems that Niantic intends to push for their web-based solution for purchases and reward us at the same time.
