Should I start farming for another one? The moveset doesn't look ideal!

Welcome to the club. 2 of my 3 got FB. The third also had irontail. Hopefully you'll have better luck knthe next one.

My first Tyranitar had Iron Tail/Fire Blast. I hope it is not like all of my Steel Wing Dragonites and Bullet Punch Machamps. I seem to have to get every possible sad-sack steel moveset before getting a good moveset.

In Dragonites I got 3 straight SW ones....then two DB/DC and a DB/DP then after the change a SW...then two straight DT ones. There is no pattern. Just keep at it and it'll pay off my friend.

You literally answered your own question.

Truly it's a matter of personal preference as there is no "right" answer to this. If simply filling the pokedex is all the matters, then power it up. If you want one with a better moveset - well - then wait.

Solid defending set, CP will get in the high 35 hundreds, so you'll have placement. I would.
