Have any of you caught a shiny with an iPhone? Until the update is available for IOS, are we able to catch 'em?

You can see it's shiny On the catching screen. I saw it on Pokémon Go's twitter.

If you spin your 7 day streak pokestop on IOS, do you get the guaranteed item?

Earlier today I did risk my 7-day spin and got an item (metal coat!) from iOS - and I just checked and see that the update is now available in app store. [Installed it and the number on Settings page changed from 0.57.4 to 0.59.1]. However even under the old version if I clicked "News" on the main menu page it did show the announcement that an evolution item would be guaranteed on the 7th day spin.
