Here we go! Mega Evolution is now global, and we have the official announcement of Mega Latios and Mega Latias to... wait, this feels familiar...
Despite our being a bit late to post it here, this official announcement dropped literally minutes after our previous news post, and as such a lot of the data will have some overlap. Feel free to familiarize yourself with what we've already reported on for a bit more depth in areas than what we'll cover here:

- Mega Latios and Mega Latias make their grand debut in Mega Legendary Raids
- For those who understandably can't tell the difference between these two at a glance, Latios has red eyes and Latias has yellow eyes.
- All Latios and Latias caught during this event will know their signature moves; Luster Purge and Mist Ball, respectively.
- A special selection of Pokemon will be more commonly spawning in the wild
- A special selection of Pokemon will be available via raids
- A special selection of Pokemon will be hatching from 7km eggs
- A special selection of Pokemon will be available via Field Research tasks
- Eggs placed in an Incubator during event hours will hatch in 1/2 the normal distance

Yesterday we announced some changes to how Mega Evolutionworks in Pokémon GO, and today we’re excited to announce that two Mega-Evolved Legendary Pokémon will soon make their Pokémon GO debuts!

*Latias caught during this period will know the Charged Attack Mist Ball.

New stickers
You’ll be able to get event-themed stickers from the in-game shop. Ticket holders of Pokémon Air Adventures live event from May 7th to May 8th will be able to get event-themed stickers by spinning PokéStops and opening Gifts.
