Time for another cross-over. This time around Pokemon Go is collaborating with Ed Sheeran to give us a new, music-themed event. A unique performance, Water-Type spawns, and the long-awaited return of Sunglasses Squirtle highlight this event

- A special performance by Ed Sheeran will be viewable via the game's in-game news.
- Night music will be replaced by "Overpass Graffiti" for the entirety of the event.
- Daily snapshots will result in photobombs, though the subject of this photobomb has not yet been revealed.
- A new Sweatshirt avatar item will be available.

- Note that Squirtle available via this event will be wearing sunglasses! This will be the first time since its July 2018 Community Day that this variant of Squirtle has been available.
- Sunglasses Squirtle will also be available via field research
- A free event box containing 1 Lure Module, 20 Pokeballs, 10 Razz Berries, and 10 Pinap Berries will be available
Quick reminder: Sunglasses Squirtle can evolve, and a Sunglasses Blastoise can Mega Evolve, though it will not be wearing sunglasses while Mega Evolved.
