Charge move energy

Hey! Thanks for the great site!

Anyways, I just wanted to ask if you could get ride of CE on charge moves... we can already see the bars. Instead, can you put negative EPS (right now it's just default zero)? That way we can see the efficiency of energy usage per damage per coldown cost.

It's interesting that say chop uses 100 energy in 2 seconds, but dig only uses 25 energy in 5 seconds.

Thanks

Edit:. Ah, it seems I need to explain myself better. I am one of those people into the DPS, that's why I wanted to address this. Saying a charge moves energy gain is zero is just incorrect. It uses energy, so it should give a negative energy per second. This is important for calculating overall DPS for move sets.

Say, cross chop uses 100 energy in 2 seconds, that is -50eps. While Hyper beam uses it's 100 energy over 5.2 seconds, so -19.2eps. What this ends up meaning is a move rotation including hyper beam will be say 70% Quick move dps and 30% Charge move dps. While Cross Chop may only be 15% of a dps rotation, resulting in Hyper beam actually doing more dps in a battle, because it has more uptime, because of it more efficient energy usage.

I'm at work, so not sure it that still makes sense...

This site caters to (and is run by) DPS-niks, it doesn't really take into account situations where a lower DPS move that can be fired off quickly is beneficial (e.g., where a 50-energy-use move attains a critical threshold like a KO more efficiently than a larger energy-use move).

That said, the statistic you wish to be displayed can be immediately inferred from everything else displayed. The "EPS" of a charge move is simply -100/# of bars.

The "EPS" or "Negative EPS" is otherwise not necessarily that useful as a presented number as nothing competes with energy once it is accumulated--energy solely exists to unleash the charge move.

You are right, CE doesn't really make sense. It is now removed.
