Does report system work?

There is always hope. Unfortunately, that's the current situation for all of us legit players. Let's see if the new gym system in which Niantic is currently working on changes everything and makes spoofing worthless for once

They probably get so many reports that they just stopped giving a shit and they are probably also just waiting and hoping that the Gym rework helps with battling spoofers.

It's a complete waste of time!

I reported a blatant spoofer ("spoofer" was part of his name!) and haven't seen him since he and his tyranitar got kicked out of the gym.

I sure hope it means he is banned!

But I also think we need to be patient and continue to report cheaters. Don't lose hope, they will get what they deserve.

How can Niantic be sure the requests from "multiple" accounts aren't actually also from a spoofer? Obviously it comes down to the level of proof, and how much time should Niantic spend going to potentially great lengths to investigate complaints for a relatively small handful of ppl, when what we all really want is better gym battling experience, more content, improvement in the user interface, etc etc.

I suppose the requests are millions and given that they check one by one personally its an endless job.
