In response to a recent issue with Adventure Sync on Android 8 and below, Niantic has officially announced that eggs incubated between today and November 13th will have a 1/4 Hatch Distance bonus active.

This is a very interesting direction, as it's the most recent in a line of issues that Niantic has actually offered a tangible compensation for. In the past, mistakes have been basically swept under the rug and ignored for the most part, with little more than an "the issue has been fixed" message once the inconvenience ended. However, it seems that Niantic is actually beginning to acknowledge the community a bit more than they have in the past, and actually admit to their own mistakes. While the community still has a number of legitimate issues that are still being worked out in the game as of writing this, it's good to see that Niantic is at least beginning to try to work with us a bit more than they have in the past.
